Advantages of Pipe Boring
Traditional methods of installing or replacing underground water and sewer pipes required digging a trench and disrupting your slab, interior flooring, lawn, and landscaping. Using a trenchless method, such as pipe boring, won’t cause excessive property damage and the associated rehabilitation costs, in addition to offering several other key benefits.
The benefits of pipe boring include:
- Environmentally friendly installations – Pipe boring is eco-friendly because it limits soil movement only to the area that is needed to run the new pipe. There is less disruption to the earth and waste caused by this trenchless method.
- Faster installation process – Putting in a new pipe using this method takes a lot less time to complete, compared with traditional methods.
- Minimal disturbance – Since excavation Is not needed, there is less disturbance to property or people. You won’t need to leave your home for a lengthy process.
While pipe boring offers many benefits, it is not suitable for every property. Certain features, such as soft soil or sand, are less conducive to the pipe boring process than harder earth or rockier terrain. We start with an inspection to determine the most suitable method for every customer. Take a look at our incredible specials as well as our rave reviews.

The Pipe Boring Process
Rather than digging a trench for the entire length of the pipe, there are only two small access holes that need to be made on either side of the pipe. After mapping out the path of the line, we create the access holes. The next step is to drill a hole on the intended path of the new pipe and make sure that hole is wide enough for the size of the pipe.
Once the hole has been created, the pipe is pulled through the hole into the desired position and connected. We perform a final inspection to ensure that everything is properly connected and working as it should before filling in the access holes. We stand behind the quality of our work, and your satisfaction is guaranteed.
